The scent of pine was heavy in the air, wrapping around the vixen's delicate bodice, choking her slowly. Cushioned was her path, due to the thick carpeting of needles that covered every square inch of the forest floor. Silence prevailed. Thick boughs arched overhead, blocking out the sunlight. The temptress crept along, cloaked in darkness. She drew it around her like a comforting blanket on a chilly winter night. Only here, hidden amongst the trees, could she escape from the cruelness of reality.
Curse the world and curse all of those in it! Who needed friends? Emotions only complicated things... made you weak. Scarlett could not stand weakness. It was only natural for her faction - the Destroyers. And yet... was she not weak, for longing for company on those lonely spring nights, when all the world seemed to pass her by?

Rolled a 3: I Can Live With That
The voice of another seeped through the shadows, shattering the silence into a thousand sparkling pieces as though it had been made of fragile glass. “Hello child.” The strange voice was of a high, quavering tone. But, where was the speaker? The hushing quiver of the wind through the pine needles filled the air as an emerald and brown shower rained down upon the crimson pelt of the one dubbed Scarlett. A rumble of thunder boomed in the distance. The air was tinted with the smell of rains to come.
Then, from the shadows emerged a being sporting a canvas of a golden hue. Her scraggly tresses resembled spun wheat. Her orbs were of a soft doe brown, though, there was a hard edge to them. Her gaze could have cut through the mightiest of oaks. A flick of her whipcords was given, swatting at some unseen pest. A hint of a smile tugged at her maw.
“You are alone?” It was more of a statement than a question.

OOC: Hehe... this outta be interesting .
IC: The blood-hued vixen's harks pricked at the sound of another. Hello child? Who was this being that dared to disturb her solitude? And why were they hiding among the shadows? Black kissers curled back to reveal the demoness's ivories -- a major sign of her annoyance with this mysterious beast. Well, whoever this stranger was, she/he/it certainly knew how to get on her nerves and how to do it quickly. Then, from the shadows, the speaker emerged.
Her pelt was of a molten gold and her orbs were hard -- able to cut to the core. Scarlett felt herself take a step backwards as she first gazed into those intense optics, but then, when the other fae spoke again, it brought the vixen back to her senses. Auds were flattened against her tiara as her ivories were bared once more.

The vixen stepped into the clearing, and seeing the other mares called to her," Hello." She didn't mean to be so outgoing, but it slipped. She took a couple steps, her midnight black pelt gleaming and shining with the light. The only white color was on her face, the crescent moon front and center. She danced in place...and wondered if she was welcome, seeing the red colored mare bare her ears.
