The gushing sound from the ancient waterfall, chemically mixed the flowing water to become crystallized. Soil was blessed to soak up its icy drink like a sponge, making the land fertile. Both, wise trees and lush vegetation stood tall, showing pride of their landscape. Sun rays what peaked threw the gaps between the tight spaces of the leaves gave enough energy for all plants to be content.

The equine, Faery, had found himself briskly walking threw this terra. He favoured it much. A peaceful and gentle place where he could build his herd. Stopping at the river bank where the waterfall flowed, cranium pulled upon his sturdy nape to allow his whiskers to brush against the surface of the running water. Pearls soon appeared whilst his chunky tongue lapped up the pure water, a treat it was for him.

In between the humble trees, numerous birds hid, singing their native songs. The continuous chitter from one of the smaller flyers was most noticeable whilst the odd 'coo' from half a dozen wood pigeon. Occasionally, grey squirrels cried out making the most irritable noise as they carried out their daily routine of retrieving and creating their 'more then several' caches. Leaves held firmly to the ancestral trees as the hushed breeze gently rustled them, but not harsh enough to tug them away from their sanctuary.

Yes, this place was what Faery was looking for. Food, water and shelter had all met his objectives. Briskly, he jogged to numerous trees and placed upon them his powerful scent, showing that this terra was now his. Halting once more at the riverbank, front pillars pushed up his form so that he would be in a rearing position. Vocals started to rumble as a beaming voice made its way out: I Faery, Servant of the Holy Faction, now claim this graced forest mine. An ear piecing neigh trailed behind his spoken words. Faery could only hope that the trees would take on his message, spreading it across the terra, to never hope that ring would stop. For now, it was his sworn duty to protect these lands, to guard his mares and on coming offspring. An honour it was, to take on these duties, and Faery hoped to never fail.....
